Companion Caregiver
Openings

Metro Care Response is expanding its home care division. We're looking for warm, dependable companions to support elderly and recovering patients in the Bronx and surrounding areas.

Home Care Companion Caregiver

What Does a Companion Caregiver Do?

Our companion caregivers provide non-medical support and meaningful human connection to seniors and patients recovering at home. You don't need a medical license — just a big heart, reliability, and a genuine desire to help.

Accompany clients on walks, errands, and appointments
Provide conversation, companionship, and emotional support
Assist with grocery shopping and light meal prep
Help with light housekeeping and home organization
Provide medication reminders (non-dispensing)
Conduct wellness check-ins and report concerns to family

Most Popular

Daily Companion

Full-Time / Part-Time

Visit clients daily for 2–4 hours. Provide companionship, light assistance, and wellness check-ins. No medical license required.

Flexible Hours

Walking Companion

Part-Time / Per Visit

Accompany clients on walks, to appointments, and community outings. Must be physically active and patient.

Driver Preferred

Errand & Grocery Aide

Part-Time

Help clients with grocery shopping, pharmacy runs, and light errands. Valid driver's license preferred.

Housing Provided

Live-In Companion

Full-Time

Provide around-the-clock companionship and light assistance for clients who need consistent daily support.

EMS Background+

Wellness Check Specialist

Part-Time

Conduct scheduled wellness visits, monitor client wellbeing, and communicate updates to families and care coordinators.

Management

Home Care Coordinator

Full-Time

Manage companion scheduling, client onboarding, and family communication. Office-based with occasional field visits.
